Job Description:
UniFirst Corporation, a leader in providing high-quality
workplace uniforms and protective workwear in the U.S, Europe, and
Canada, is seeking an ambitious Business Development Representative
to join our dynamic sales team. This role is pivotal in driving our
business growth by securing new clients and fostering robust
relationships in various market sectors. The successful candidate
will leverage their sales expertise to expand our reach, ensuring
that more businesses benefit from our customized uniform and
facility service programs. Identifying and targeting potential new
clients through research, outbound calls, and networking.
Presenting and selling UniFirst Corporation solutions to current
and potential clients through direct communication, web-based
presentations, and through industry networking events. Working
closely with the marketing department to understand and leverage
new product offerings. Managing the entire sales cycle from finding
a client to securing a deal, including proposal development and
contract negotiation. Maintaining strong relationships with
existing clients while developing strategies to acquire new client
business. Continually learning about new products and improving
selling skills to enhance individual and team performance.
Providing weekly sales forecasts to management. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Strong presentation and
negotiation skills Proven ability to execute cold-calling and other
lead generation methods effectively Ability to understand and
analyze sales performance metrics Proficiency in Microsoft Office
and customer relationship management (CRM) software Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Certified Sales Professional (CSP) certification is a plus but not
required
