Job Description:
Coach USA, a key player and subsidiary of Stagecoach Group,
seeks a visionary Director of Business Development to lead
strategic initiatives that enhance our market presence across North
America. The ideal candidate will orchestrate our business
expansion, focusing on leveraging our strengths in commuter
services, airport shuttles, sightseeing tours, and charter
operations. This leadership role demands a strategic thinker with a
knack for identifying opportunities, negotiating partnerships, and
propelling revenue growth. Develop and execute a comprehensive
business development strategy that aligns with the company’s
overall vision and goals. Identify and evaluate new business
opportunities to drive growth and profitability. Lead the
negotiation and closure of deals with new clients, partners, and
stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with key
industry players, clients, and stakeholders. Collaborate with other
departments like marketing, operations, and finance to ensure a
cohesive growth strategy. Oversee market research and competitor
analysis to stay ahead of industry trends. Prepare and present
regular performance and strategy reports to the executive team and
board members. Proven expertise in strategic planning, market
analysis, and business negotiations. Strong leadership and team
management skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and
presentation skills. Ability to work under pressure, plan
strategically, and manage multiple priorities. Proficient in using
CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. MBA or Master's degree in
a relevant field is preferred. Professional certifications in
Project Management (PMP), Business Analysis (CBAP), or Sales and
Marketing are advantageous.
