through integrity.The Role:The Model and Methodology Development
Group at Moody's Ratings (MR) is a group of professionals who
oversee the development and publication of all methodologies,
models, scorecards, and tools for the rating agency. We are looking
for an AVP in the Methodology Vision Team to shape the future of
Moody's methodologies analytics, content and
documentation.Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a business analyst capacity
with a strong focus on financial models
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a proven
ability to analyze complex data and processes
- Experience with creating and improving processes, particularly
in a structured and analytical environment
- Experience leading and synthesizing customer and/or user views
into critical requirements
- Proficiency in Vizio and/or Lucid charts a plus
- Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to multi-task
and manage multiple projects
- Experience working with and leading self-directed teams
- Customer-focused in defining quality and establishing
prioritiesEducation:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Mathematics, Financial
Engineering, Mathematical Finance, or a related
fieldResponsibilities:Define the Vision and Requirements
- Analyze variations in model analytics and identify
commonalities
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings within Moody's Ratings,
including Moody's Technology and key stakeholders, to achieve the
objectives of the Methodology Vision.
- Define business process requirements and identify with process
owners and product owners any opportunities to enhance the
methodology process.
- Lead the requirements of a comprehensive document and authoring
management system to streamline the storage, retrieval, and update
of all documents.
- Develop data requirements in the analytical workflow, ensuring
robust data analysis and process optimization.
- Identify opportunities to simplify/streamline operational
efficiencies in the methodology process, leveraging analytical
insights to drive improvements.Implement and Promote the
Methodology
- Implement methodology library initiatives in partnership with
Moody's Technology and other partners.
- Drive adoption of the methodology content templates in the
Methodology process and how they are being used.
- Promote the use of accepted data definitions, common reference
data, and sound data usage practices.Monitor and Control
- Develop clear metrics to monitor success and progress.
- Design and implement clear controls to handle risk along the
process, ensuring analytical rigor and process integrity.About the
team:The Model and Methodology Development Group (MMDG) at Moody's
is responsible for developing and publishing all new methodologies
and revisions to existing methodologies, as well as the related
models, scorecards, and analytical tools used in Moody's
Ratings.The Methodology Vision Team is responsible for the
development and operationalization of the Methodology, Model, and
Scorecard Vision, including the efficient delivery and consistency
in the documentation around the analytics supporting our
methodologies.For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base
salary range for this position is [[$134,400.00 - [[$194,850.00,
depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills,
and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In
addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive
compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package,
