Job Number: 26-00983 Job Description: The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the frontline representative of the organization, providing high-quality patient service while performing blood specimen collection and preparation for laboratory testing. This role plays a key part in maintaining patient satisfaction by creating a professional, welcoming, and trustworthy environment. The PSR I demonstrates leadership behaviors, process excellence , and strong attention to confidentiality and accuracy in all patient interactions. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily phlebotomy and specimen processing activities accurately and on time Collect clinical and forensic specimens following established procedures Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment Accurately complete and maintain required records and documentation Promote a positive organizational image to patients, clients, and the public Work independently with minimal on-site supervision Required Skills & Qualifications: Required: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience Ability to deliver error-free work in a fast-paced environment Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections Strong organizational and multitasking skills Proficiency with keyboarding and data entry Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime Preferred: One (1) year of phlebotomy experience Medical assistant or paramedic training Customer service experience in a retail or service environment Phlebotomy certification (required only in CA, NV, and WA) Benefits: Medical Insurance Vision Insurance Dental Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan About the Company: A leading provider of diagnostic information services empowering healthier lives.
