Job Description:
Fantastic OB/GYN Opportunity – Waterbury, Connecticut We are
seeking a BE or BC OB/GYN physician to join our thriving practice
in Waterbury, CT. Our group includes four physicians and one
midwife, with weekend cross-coverage provided by other local
groups. This is a very busy practice, so a new OB/GYN would start
with a full patient panel, providing a balanced mix of obstetrics
and gynecology. Responsibilities: - Provide medical care related to
pregnancy and the female reproductive system - Examine patients and
obtain medical histories - Screen for breast, cervical, and ovarian
cancers - Deliver babies vaginally or via cesarean section - Treat
urinary tract and pelvic disorders, hormonal disorders, and
sexually transmitted diseases - Order, perform, and interpret
diagnostic tests - Create treatment plans and initiate appropriate
referrals to specialists and hospital programs - Ensure timely,
accurate, and complete patient documentation - Collaborate with
Practice Management to ensure proper billing and coding compliance
- Promote wellness and health education - Robotic training is a
plus, but not required - Participate in on-call coverage with other
OB/GYN providers - Provide quality supervision of Medical
Assistants (MAs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician Assistants
(PAs), and other clinical staff at the site This position comes
