Job Description Position Highlights: Role: Inpatient Psychiatrist Compensation: $290K/year (Negotiable) Includes Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Bonus Assignment Type: Permanent Job Details: Start Date: As soon as credentialing is completed Credentialing Time: 90-120 days Setting: Freestanding facility Cases: 100% adult cases Licensure: Active PA license required (will wait for licensure) Work Environment: Primary Site: Backus Hospital (213-bed acute care facility) Collaborative, community-focused multidisciplinary team Responsibilities include inpatient care, consultations, and ER support as needed Work-Life Balance: Call Schedule: After-hours weekday call shared with four psychiatrists (separately paid) Optional weekend call (separately paid) Professional Growth: Supervision opportunities for medical students, residents, and non-physician health professionals Participation in system-wide improvement projects (e.g., Early Psychosis Treatments, Zero Opioid Death Initiative) Access to leadership training and development programs Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits: Low-cost, high-quality medical/dental coverage STD/LTD 401(k) match Paid time off CME allowances Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program Visa Sponsorship: Open to H1B and J1 waiver candidates
