Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ED ER Job Details: • Assess, implement, and evaluate care needed by assigned patients under the direction of licensed physicians • Utilize nursing process to collaborate with patients, family members, significant others, professional peers, and healthcare team members • Direct nursing support staff in provision of patient care according to nursing practice standards • Follow administrative and departmental policies and procedures • Apply principles, theories, current methods and techniques of nursing practice • Individualize patient care for each assigned patient • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required • Bachelor's Degree preferred • 1 year experience in area of clinical specialty preferred • PA Registered Nurse License required • Basic Life Support certification required • Multi State Compact RN License required • Professional education, training or additional certifications may be required by specialty area Facility: This academic medical center serves as a major teaching hospital providing comprehensive emergency services and advanced medical care.
