Ideal for experienced ER/acute care nurses seeking short-term contract work in New Jersey healthcare./n /n/nJob Details/n /n - Location: Pennington, NJ (Float between RMC and Hopewell campuses) — New Jersey nursing jobs / Pennington healthcare/n - Role: ER Registered Nurse (RN), Float Pool (ED Holds)/n - Setting: MST Units & Emergency Department (ED) Holds/n - Shifts per Week: 3/n - Shift Duration: 12-hour nights/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Schedule: Every other weekend & every other holiday required/n - Contract Length: 8 weeks (with potential for extension)/n - Start Date: March 31, 2026/n - EMR System: Cerner/n - Scrub Color: Navy Blue/n - Hourly Pay Rate: $83.70/hour/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2020–$2130/n /n/nMinimum Requirements / Qualifications/n /n - Minimum 2 years of recent MST or emergency department nursing experience (ER RN / acute care)/n - Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license at time of submission/n - Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS/n - Flu vaccination required (no declinations accepted)/n - Ability and willingness to float between RMC and Hopewell campuses and across MST and ED Hold units/n - Experience documenting in Cerner EMR preferred/n /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide high-quality emergency and acute care nursing to patients in MST units and ED Holds/n - Float between RMC and Hopewell campuses as assigned to meet patient care needs/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—physicians, case management, and ancillary staff—to ensure optimal patient outcomes/n - Document patient assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately using Cerner EMR/n - Adhere to hospital policies, attendance expectations, and shift make-up requirements/n - Maintain required certifications and comply with vaccination and infection control policies/n /n/n Schedule Note: Any missed scheduled shift must be made up within the same week. Overtime is not permitted for make-up shifts.
