MJHS, a leader in integrated and comprehensive health services located in Brooklyn, is seeking a dedicated On-Call Triage RN Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves leading the triage nursing staff, providing critical decision-making support, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care after hours. The successful candidate will offer immediate patient assessment, prioritize care based on clinical urgency, and supervise a team to operate smoothly and efficiently under varying conditions. This position requires a deep commitment to compassionate care, quick problem-solving, and effective communication with patients, family members, and healthcare personnel. Assess patient conditions over the phone and determine the urgency of medical needs. Prioritize patient care based on clinical evaluation and urgency, directing them to appropriate care settings. Manage and supervise the nursing team, ensuring readiness and compliance with healthcare protocols. Provide clinical support and guidance to triage nurses during their shifts. Ensure documentation and patient records are accurately updated in a timely manner. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care plans. Participate in the development and implementation of training programs for triage staff. Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills Strong leadership and team management capabilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to perform well under stress in a fast-paced environment Proficient in using medical software and telecommunication systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid RN license in the state of New York Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
