Job Details Join Jefferson Health s nocturnist team, providing
dedicated overnight inpatient care at Jefferson Lansdale Hospital.
This role involves working one week on/one week off and offers a
supportive, collaborative environment with a sustainable work
schedule. Job Description Overnight Admissions & Inpatient Care:
Evaluate and admit patients from the ED, conduct night rounds, and
manage ongoing inpatient care. Cross-Coverage Support: Provide
backup to APPs and assist with ICU needs, including rapid responses
and Code Blue events. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with
interdisciplinary teams (nursing, specialists, social work) to
ensure comprehensive transitions at shift change. Documentation &
Compliance: Maintain accurate and timely charting of histories,
physicals, daily notes, and care plans while ensuring compliance
and proper coding. Qualifications MD or DO, board certified or
board eligible in Internal Medicine Completion of an accredited
residency program Must hold or be eligible for a Pennsylvania
medical license and DEA registration Current BLS and ACLS
certifications Work Shift Workday Night (United States of America)
