Job Description:

Tender Touch Rehab Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with patients and physical therapists to implement specific therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance patient performance. This position requires a keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to aiding patient recovery and improving mobility. Assist physical therapists in the execution of patient treatment plans, contributing to the achievement of patient objectives. Carry out specific modalities and interventions as prescribed by the supervising physical therapist. Document the patient's reactions to treatment and status changes, providing timely updates to the physical therapist. Participate in patient status assessments and report on observed progress or treatment-related complications. Maintain treatment area, equipment cleanliness, and proper setup of therapy sessions. Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care and lifestyle changes necessary for improvement of health outcomes. Knowledge of physical therapy principles, theories, methods applied in clinic settings Ability to follow physical therapist directions and program modifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in the use of physical therapy equipment and tools Capacity to handle sensitive information confidentially 401k Valid Physical Therapist Assistant state license CPR and First Aid certification preferred
