a qualified OR RN in Passaic, New Jersey, 07055! Job Title: RN

13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 AM
- 03:00 PM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current and
valid state RN License Certifications: - Current BLS certificate
upon hire and maintain current - Current ACLS certificate within 30
days upon hire and maintain current - Current PALS certificate
within 30 days upon hire and maintain current Must-Have: -
Open-heart experience required - Minimum of one year previous
perioperative experience or on-the-job training - Certified Nurse
OR (CNOR) Certification preferred - Bachelor of Science in Nursing
(BSN) preferred - Pre/Post Op experience Description: RN OR nurses
needed for 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 07:00 AM to
03:00 PM. Call is required and no exceptions will be made. The
Staff RN is directly accountable to the OR Charge Nurse and the
Director of Surgical Services. The Registered Nurse is responsible
for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care in the
perioperative setting. This is achieved through the nursing process
of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for various
age groups. The Registered Nurse coordinates the care of the
patient with the surgeon and anesthesiologist. They also direct and
guide the OR Technician and other personnel while maintaining
standards of professional nursing. Collaboration with other
departments is essential to provide a continuum of care. The
Registered Nurse will work with co-workers to ensure continuous,
quality patient care, efficient patient flow, and unit maintenance.
Adherence to regulations, standards, and policies is required.
Participation in performance improvement activities, unit meetings,
and in-services is expected. The Registered Nurse acts as a
resource for other personnel as appropriate. Ability to take call
