Surgical Technologist for a local contract job in Livingston, New
Jersey. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Certified

Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days
Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking
a Certified Surgical Technologist for an ongoing assignment at
Prestigious Hospital in Livingston, NJ. Job Function: Day Shift.
5x8: 6:30am - 2:30pm. Maintain proper sterile field during surgical
procedures. Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and
after operation and document according to policy. Prepare patients
for surgery as requested. Provide technical assistance to surgeons,
OR nurses, or anesthesiologists as needed. Wash and sterilize
equipment using proper sterilization techniques. Operate, adjust,
and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation. Job
Requirements: Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist
program. Hold Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National
Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). BLS
preferred (American Heart Association). 2 years of Current acute
care OR experience in a similar size facility required. Disclosure:
