a Business Development Director to help expand their client base
and drive strategic growth.Position SummaryThis role will play a
pivotal role in identifying, pursuing, and securing new business
opportunities. This individual will work closely with senior
leadership and cross-functional teams to develop tailored
proposals, nurture client relationships, and position the agency as
a trusted partner in the healthcare communications space.This is a
remote role, ideally suited for someone with a strong understanding
of the pharmaceutical marketing landscape and a proven ability to
build and convert a pipeline of qualified leads.Key
Responsibilities
Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market
research, networking, and outreach. Build a robust pipeline of
pharma and biotech prospects aligned with the agency's capabilities
and growth strategy.
Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., brand
managers, medical affairs leads, marketing directors) at target
companies. Understand their business challenges and position the
agency's services as solutions.
Lead the development of customized proposals, RFP responses, and
pitch presentations. Collaborate with internal teams (strategy,
medical, creative, digital) to ensure alignment with client needs
and expectations.
Contribute to the agency's business development strategy by
identifying market trends, competitive insights, and emerging
opportunities in the healthcare communications space.
Work closely with leadership to set revenue targets, track
progress, and report on KPIs. Maintain accurate records of all
sales activities in CRM tools.Ideal Candidate Profile
