LinkedIn!GENERAL FUNCTIONThe Director of Strategy defines, drives,
and implements strategy and critical strategic initiatives for
Pearle Vision. Assesses strategic options, drives the
organization's short- and long-range planning, serves as a partner
to the leadership team to identify, analyze, and solve
business-critical problems, and leads execution of strategic
projects. These projects may include operational excellence, new
business opportunities, growth initiatives, profitability drivers,
consumer acquisition, digital commerce and other critical projects.
The Director acts as a key advisor to the GM, managing annual
planning cycle and driving cross functional alignment.MAJOR DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports strategy and project management efforts for Pearle
Vision to ensure effective analysis, planning, and execution of
initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Collaborates with senior leadership during strategic planning
and budget cycles to help define priorities, assess business
opportunities, and align project work with strategic goals.
- Manages a portfolio of strategic projects, directly leading key
initiatives and providing project management support across
cross-functional teams.
- Leverages data and research to assess and quantify business
opportunities in support of growth initiatives.
- Analyzes retail metrics and customer engagement trends to help
identify opportunities to improve revenue and profitability.
- Conducts competitive and industry analysis to inform business
planning and identify areas for potential growth.
- Closely partners with Eyecare and Business Development on
current and future business growth opportunities and transformation
activities.
- Contributes to internal strategic growth efforts such as 3-year
planning, brand portfolio assessment, and evaluation of new revenue
streams.
- Defines and documents project scope, objectives, and
deliverables in partnership with stakeholders and leadership.
- Leads or supports execution of high-impact projects to drive
revenue growth, operational efficiency, and/or risk
mitigation.
- Provides project management and change support across business
and functional teams, acting as a facilitator, process partner, and
problem solver.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and processes to
increase team efficiency.
- Manage planning rhythms such as business reviews, offsites, and
leadership meetings
- Drives cross functional projects from planning through
execution, monitoring key initiatives and maintaining timelines and
accountability.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years professional experience
- Writes and presents effectively
- Strong ability to adapt delivery and style to fit the
audience
- Able to deliver messages that are well received and clearly
understood
- Analytical mindset and solution oriented
- Ability to lead across functions, motivate teams and champion
individual employees
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously, set priorities, identify/address problems and meet
deadlines
- Able to define an effective process, workflow, and systems
designPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA
- Top-tier strategy consulting experience
- Medtech, optical or audiology experience strongly
preferred
- Experience in dealing/presenting/interacting with top level
executivesPay Range: 182,337.20 -264,432.40Employee pay is
determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience,
qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In
addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or
commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards
