Asst. Store Manager
The Assistant Manager, through hands-on-trainingand delegation,
coordinates all departments and ensures everyone is workingtowards
the same goal providing excellent service and value to our
customers.Assistant Managers are responsible for the overall
operation of a store,including establishing and maintaining
customer service, hiring, all aspects ofmerchandising, inventory
control, management of funds, controlling expenses andshrink
control. Assistant Managers develop store personnel in all aspects
ofthe business Build confidence and a strong sense of teamwork in
theirassociates. The position requires soft lines merchandising
expertise,compliance to policies and procedures, the ability to
multitask, evaluate andreact to performance issues, strong
communication, customer service andleadership skills. Must have at
least 3 years big box retail managementexperience working with soft
lines. Transportation required, Evenings, weekendsand the ability
to work varied hours and days based on the needs of thebusiness.
Physical requirements include; ability to walk and
standcontinuously, lift up to 60 lbs., bend, stoop, and climbing a
ladder isrequired on occasion.
