Job Title: CNC Operator/Machinist - 1st Shift Job ID: 30233 Job Location: Carlstadt, NJ Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked - and have every other Friday off Job Description: ARDE Inc., the U.S. leader in manufacturing pressure vessels for space applications, is seeking a skilled CNC Operator/Machinist to join our 1st shift team. In this role, you will operate CNC machines to produce precision components critical to space exploration. Essential Functions: \n Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality aerospace components. \n Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications. \n Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment. \n Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards. \n Maintain a clean and organized work environment. \n Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize production processes. \n Follow safety protocols and company procedures. \n \n Qualifications: \n High school diploma or equivalent. \n 2 years of experience operating CNC machines. \n Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. \n Familiarity with G-code programming and machine setup. \n \n Preferred Additional Skills: \n Experience with aerospace-grade materials such as Inconel and aluminum. \n Knowledge of precision machining techniques. \n Familiarity with inspection equipment such as calipers, gages etc \n Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. \n Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles. \n \n In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in the state of New Jersey is $18.50/hr - $59.13/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
