Job Description Job Description Job Title: Utility Laborer Job Description As a Utility Laborer, you will report to the Extrusion Supervisor and play a vital role within the department. Your primary responsibilities will include the safe handling of aluminum products post-extrusion, tending the lines, racking, packing, and moving bins using a forklift when necessary. 1st. shift. 6am to 6pm - rotating schedule, must work weekends when needed 3rd. shift 6pm to 6am - rotating schedule, must work weekends when needed Responsibilities Ensure the safe handling of aluminum products after the extrusion process. Tend to the lines and manage racking and packing processes. Operate a sit-down forklift to move bins as required. Essential Skills Experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Comfortable with physically demanding labor. Proficiency in reading a tape measure. Experience operating a sit-down forklift. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with general labor and production processes. Skillful use of hand tools. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work primarily on the 1st shift with frequent opportunities for overtime, allowing you to pick up additional shifts. Responsibilities take place in both indoor settings and the plant, which may have extreme temperatures and high noise levels. The dress code requires steel toe boots, long pants, and the use of a hard hat, glasses, and ear plugs while in the plant. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pennsauken, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
